Taken measures to increase exports and finding new markets are not enough. This was stated by Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov at a session of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers.

In January-September 2015, exports of goods and services amounted to 75.4% over the same period last year. In this regard, the head of the Belarusian Government pointed out that the measures taken to increase exports and the search for markets are insufficient and needed further concentration of efforts in this direction. Andrei Kobyakov noted that the decrease in export value indicators due to the unfavorable external market prices for a number of headings saw a significant increase in sales in volume, for example, oil, milk and cream, cheese and cottage cheese.

The Head of Government noted that exports to new promising markets continued to show a positive trend, it amounted to $ 664 million, or 118.4% compared to January-September 2014. Also Andrei Kobyakov underlined a steady trend of forming a positive balance of foreign trade in goods and services in the first nine months, it amounted to $ 1.2 billion, or 2.9% of GDP.

There is a growing supply in the markets of Asia and Africa. "Exports to Asia increased by 27.4%, including China 37.8%. Deliveries to Africa rose by 8.9%. Belarusian products are in demand in the countries of Central and North America, exports increased by 12, 6% ", - he said.​
