2010 should become a year of a considerable growth of the
export potential of Belarusian companies, Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky said at a session of the Council of Ministers on 2 February. The session
highlighted the results of social and economic development of Belarus in 2009.
Iran stands for the expansion of cooperation with Belarus, said
Head of the Presidential Office of Iran Esfandiar Rahim Mashaie as he met with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko on 29
January.
First Vice-Premier of Belarus Vladimir Semashko and
Vice-Premier of Russia Igor Sechin have reached a final agreement on the deliveries of Russian oil to Belarus on 27 January.
The Government of Belarus has laid down the rules for
allocating tariff quotas for pork import in 2010. The relevant resolution has been adopted by the Council of Ministers.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is set to
visit Belarus next week, Vice-Premier of Belarus Viktor Burya said at a working meeting with the co-chairmen of the Belarus-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental
Economic Cooperation Commission on 23 January.
Since 1 January 2010 Belarus is to use the single commodity
classification of the foreign economic activity of the Customs Union. It is stipulated in Resolution No. 56 adopted by the Council of Ministers of
Belarus.
The salary of foreign specialists who will prepare personnel for the Belarusian nuclear power industry will be 300% of the tariff rate of the first category. This is stipulated in Resolution No. 54 of the Council of Ministers of Belarus.
