CUSTOMS PROCEDURES FOR DECLARING EXPORT GOODS SIMPLIFIED IN BELARUS
In line with Decree No 1213 signed by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on August 22 2008, the customs procedures for declaring export commodities have been simplified.
The economic entities used to submit a separate customs declaration for each delivery, but now the exporter can submit a common declaration for all the goods delivered within one month on the same terms stipulated by the same contract to the same recipient.
Moreover, in certain cases the Decree allows submitting approximate information about the recipient, the destination and (or) vendor country, the deal and its major terms, transportation means, quantity, weight and value of the goods. The deadline for submitting the specified data is the 10th day of the month following the month when the delivery was carried out.
The Decree extends to all the Belarusian export products.
