SINGLE COMMODITY CLASSIFICATION OF CUSTOMS UNION IN EFFECT IN BELARUS SINCE 1 JANUARY 2010
Since 1 January 2010 Belarus is to use the single commodity classification of the foreign economic activity of the Customs Union. It is stipulated in Resolution No. 56 adopted by the Council of Ministers of Belarus.
The single commodity classification of the foreign economic activity of the Customs Union was adopted by the EurAsEC Interstate Council at the level of the heads of state on 27 November 2009. The Belarusian Government passed the relevant resolution in order to implement this decision.
The Council of Ministers of Belarus specified that the decisions related to the commodity classification are made by the customs services.
