The Government gave the Austrian company Kapsch TrafficCom the guarantees to pay for the expenses on the first two phases of the development of the Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system in Belarus, reads Resolution No. 401 of the Council of Ministers of 2 May 2012.
Belarus and Russia have great prospects for cooperation in railway transport industry, Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich said when visiting the travelling exhibition and lecture complex of the Russian Railways on 7 May.
With Resolution No.387 of 26 April 2012 the Council of Ministers approved a new per capita minimum wage. In May NMW will amount to Br743,020, up 5.1% from its level in February-April 2012 (Br706,880).

The government and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus have adopted a joint action plan to reach goals set by the social and economic development forecast, the budget law and the Major Monetary Management Guidelines for 2012. The decision is laid down by resolution No. 328/9 of 12 April of the Council of Ministers and the National Bank.
There are plans to allocate $1.5 billion for Slavkali company to build a new potash factory in Belarus, Slavkali owner, prominent Russian businessman Mikhail Gutseriyev told on 3 April. Earlier that day he had taken part in the government session held by Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich to discuss the implementation of the project.
On 1 April 2012 Belarus will raise export duties on oil and oil products. The relevant decision is laid down by Council of Ministers resolution No. 273 of 23 March 2012.
The Belarusian Government and Sberbank are set to sign a supplemental agreement to the agreement on the issue of loans to buy Belarusian goods in Russia. Such a decision is contained in the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 57 of 19 January 2012.
Belarus Premier Mikhail Myasnikovich is set to pay a working visit to Turkmenistan on 16-17 January.
