List of innovation projects

The State Military Industrial Committee plans to implement the following innovative projects:
- Manufacture of plastic cabs (Lyos Unitary Enterprise), manufacturing capacity: 200 units yearly;
- Manufacture of new-generation radio stations (Lyos Unitary Enterprise), manufacturing capacity: 500 automobile radio stations, 100 stationary ones and 2,000 portable ones;
- Manufacture of mini-class and intercity buses, planned expenditures: 10 billion roubles, 200 buses for urban, local and international traffic;
- Manufacture of a prospective family of hydromechanical transmissions (MZKT Unitary Enterprise), manufacturing capacity: 2000 units;
- Organization of manufacture of a domestic centimetric and decimetric-band radars (Radar Design Office); the business plan is at the development stage;
- Development of the space instrument making (Peleng Open Joint-Stock Company), creation of the spacecraft jointly with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus; the business plan is at the development stage;
- Manufacture of cogeneration modules with the power of 100 to 500 kW (140th Repair Works Unitary Enterprise), manufacturing capacity: 30 units;
- Creation of the infrastructure of the state operator of the mobile cellular communications of the GSM 900/1800 standard (Belarusian Telecommunication Network Closed Joint-Stock Company).
The total volume of financing of the works for creating new enterprises, new production facilities at the operating enterprises and modernization of the operating facilities in the years 2007 – 2010 will be 459,609 million roubles, of which 31,000 million roubles will be provided at the cost of the State Budget’s funds, 395,109 million roubles – from bank credits and 33,500 million roubles – from other sources.
