The main objective of the innovative activities of High-Technology Park for the years 2007-2010 consists in carrying out the R&D works and introducing the state-of-the-art technologies at the industrial and other organizations of the Republic, promotion of the creation and development of the production facilities based on the new and high technologies and improvement of the competitiveness of branches of the economy of the Republic of Belarus.

In accordance with the directions of activities of High-Technology Park consisting in the development and introduction of the information and communication technologies and software as well as their export, the implementation of the programme measures will be focused on the following prospective directions:

1. Creation of the competitive sector of the information and communication technologies, conditions for development of the organizations carrying out the development of the information and communication technologies and ensuring the extended reproduction of these technologies;
2. Strengthening the integration and economic impact of the Republic of Belarus in the international markets of information and communication as well as other new and high technologies.

The implementation of the State Programme will allow the residents of High-Technology Park jointly with the state authorities and organizations to take part in the implementation of the projects of modernization of the production and technological activities and improvement of the administrative and management activities of the organizations of various economy branches by development and introduction of the up-to-date software of information systems based on the state-of-the-art-technologies in the industry, financial and banking activities, trade, health protection and education.

At the same time, in accordance with the residents’ business-projects, the profit gained at the cost of the concessional taxation will be reinvested in the technical and technological modernization of the own facilities, mastering the state-of-the-art software-engineering technologies and training the specialists capable of creating the products which would be competitive in the world markets.

The residents of High-Technology Park have planned the implementation at the cost of their own means of measures for certification of the quality management systems for software engineering to the ISO 9001 standard as well as to the CMII standard which ensures the entry to the international markets of information technologies and obtaining large export orders.

Alongside with the activation of the efforts for introducing the of the state-of-the-art information technologies in the industrial and other organizations within the innovative activities, the residents of High-Technology Park will carry out the development of their own innovative products which would have prospects for being sold in the domestic and external markets.

The total amount of financing the works for modernization of the operating facilities in the years 2007-2010 will be 4,660 million roubles, including that from the Republican Budget’s funds to the amount of 851 million roubles, from the local budget – to the amount of 30 million roubles and from other sources – 3,779 million roubles.
