Belarus approves 2026-2030 program to upgrade housing, improve living conditions

The state program Comfortable Housing and Favorable Environment for 2026-2030 has been approved. The corresponding resolution was signed by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin.

The state program is a key instrument for implementing state policy in the housing and utilities sector. It is aimed at providing citizens with comfortable living conditions, creating a safe and favorable living environment, improving the quality of housing and utility services and the level of amenities in populated areas, as well as implementing quality-of-life standards.

The program includes four subprograms:  Improvement, Housing Repair, Reduction of Unused Public Rental Housing and Clean Water.

Funding for the program’s measures is planned at Br26.5 billion.
