Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin visited Soligorsk Poultry Factory on 16 April.
The focus was on the enterprise’s performance results for 2025 and the outcomes of the first quarter of 2026. The progress of investment projects was also on the agenda of the visit.
Egg production at Soligorsk Poultry Factory for 2025 totaled 480 million units (101.5% compared to 2024), including 182.7 million quail eggs and 297.3 million chicken eggs. Gross output in comparable prices amounted to Br123.6 million (100.1% of the 2024 level). Products worth $10.2 million were exported, representing 112.5% of the 2024 figure.
Egg production in January-March 2026 totaled 133.4 million units (103% compared to the same period last year), including 66.6 million quail eggs and 66.8 million chicken eggs.
Soligorsk Poultry Factory is an investment-active enterprise. In 2025, an innovative quail farm was put into operation. As it reached its designed capacity, the need had arisen to implement an investment project “Construction of an Innovative Quail Egg Processing Workshop”. The new workshop is planned to process at least 108 million quail eggs annually. The main products of the innovative workshop will be marinated boiled quail eggs and smoked quail eggs, with new products also planned. These include pasta products with the addition of quail eggs, as well as other types of food products containing quail eggs. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in December 2027.
In 2026, work began on the implementation of the investment project “Construction of a Breeding and Genetic Center for Raising Quails”. The project aims to create and improve quail crosses with high egg production and high-quality table eggs. Commissioning of this project is scheduled for November 2028.
Currently, renovation of poultry houses is underway as part of the project, which will increase the number of housing spaces for the adult laying hen flock by 89,000 bird spaces, yielding an additional 23.4 million chicken eggs. Commissioning of two poultry houses is scheduled for December 2027.
During his working trip to Soligorsk District, Aleksandr Turchin did not overlook the key topic for agricultural workers, which is the progress of spring field work. Special attention was paid to three main aspects. First, the sowing pace, the efficiency of the planting campaign, and adherence to agrotechnical deadlines. Second, corn. As one of the main forage crops, its sowing receives heightened attention. Third, the readiness of equipment. The key issue under particular scrutiny is whether uninterrupted operation of seeding complexes and the tractor fleet is ensured.
